Thia Megia, 15-year old singer from California won the hearts of the American public and collected enough votes to continue her quest of becoming the next American Idol.
She delivered a powerful perfomance of the the song “Out Here On My Own”, Wednesday night. Last night, Thia was proclaimed as one of the 13 finalists of the talent search after the votes from the show’s viewers were tallied.
“You sang Out Here on My Own. Steven was blown away by your perfect pitch. Jennifer loved it,” American Idol host Ryan Seacrest said as he delivered the results to the teenager.
